Nissan is planning to reduce production of its popular Rogue SUV by approximately 900 units next week due to a chip shortage linked to Dutch firm Nexperia, exacerbated by diplomatic tensions. The automaker is evaluating further output adjustments for the following week as the supply of parts remains affected. A Nissan spokesperson stated that the company is implementing “small-scale production adjustments” while aiming to minimise the impact on customer deliveries as the situation develops.
