Google has entered into agreements with two U.S. electric utilities to reduce power consumption at its AI data centers during peak demand periods, addressing concerns over energy shortages. The company said that these agreements will help alleviate pressure on the grid and may become more common as electricity supply challenges intensify in the U.S.
